organizing bookshelves and the like
Hello lovely people!
While dreamofthem and I were looking around, doing some dusting and so on, we noticed that the current tagging system is inadequate for the kind of community this is becoming. In the past, when we were bandom-only, all we needed was the prompt date, but because of the pan-fandom/pan-medium nature of the community, we've decided it might be beneficial to implement a more descriptive tagging system. Also, one of your mods is organization-crazy.
From now on, tags should look like this:
fandom:____
example: fandom: bandom
fan: ____
example: fan: art
We'll be going back and re-tagging anything that's been posted since we inherited we_are_cities. In the future, if you could please try to tag your stuff like those two examples, that would be great! If you forget, that's not a problem. One of us will tag it for you.
In other housekeeping business, just a quick reminder that we do have an open AO3 collection to which you are always welcome to add your works. Also, we promise we will figure out the days of the week someday.
