I'll get to my intro in a little while but since my dumbass forgot to check to see if and when the band was coming to Dallas TX, (I didn't know they were on tour till I heard Jerry on the Punk ch. Halloween night), has anyone here been to their show yet? And if so, how good do they sound? I'm debating about trying to go to the Dallas show and since

well i saw them a few years ago and i didnt like it. but if you like the new misfits (also known as the jerry only band) go for it.

I've seen the current lineup (Jerry, Robo, and Dez) about 5 times now, and I had a great time every time. They usually play 30 or more songs per show, and it's mostly "classic" Misfits material, with some of the Michale Graves era stuff, and usualy a few Black Flag songs, and sometimes some Ramones songs. So you'll probably hear most of your favorites. As for how they sound, like any other band it really depends on what kind of audience is there. If the crowd is really into it, they feed off of that and play a really high energy show. If not, they still at least sound pretty good.

I was 1 year old when Danzig left the band, and I didn't get to see them with Michale Graves, so I can't really compare the current lineup with those, but I'd say go anyway. Hearing Misfits songs live, no matter who is playing them, is worth experiencing at least once.

Honestly, I left after 6 songs at the Detroit show. It was bad.
