So yesterday my "flame" came over (as I like to call her) and yeah that was very fun, like it usually is. I love my Karie McKee! Sorry, had to get that out there. Anyway, Karie came over again today, but then me and my mom got in a hugemongolophoric (acid) fight. No no, not an acid fight, but you get the idea. So she had to leave, and I surrendered the day to doing papers, and being grounded for three weeks.
Oh, before I forget. Yesterday I finally had the oppertunity to read "Tuesday's with Morie". This inspirational and heart warming novel is about an old self-centered egotistical douche bag with ALS, and how he touched the life of a mediocre author with prestige value that more than quadruples his actual writing abilities. Through this experience we learn about love, compassion, family, death, money, love, death, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, DEATH, DEATH, LOVE, and urinating in a beaker (in that order). This is then followed by 3 helpings of love crammed down your throat, topped of with a nice big "Awwwwww how sad, let's cry" death scene. The final scene is interesting though, in that it takes the two most repetitive topics throughout the book, and repeats them again. The ending scene manages to give dominance to BOTH THEMES AT ONCE. That's right, we get our faces smashed with love and out balls kicked by death at the same time. Did I mention it was aslo in Oprah's book club? I recommend this book to anyone with 1½-2 hours to kill that thinks that their life is worth something. I do this because compared to god, I mean Morrie, your life is meaningless.
Have a nice day kids.
