She used to think it would be so different than this.  That they would see each other and all would be forgiven.  She never imagined he would look different - older, more serious, but without a trace of bitterness as he offered his hand to Harry.  She always thought she would run to him, slap him and then pull him into kiss, not sit demurely ( Read more... )

Ouch. Gads, I love this one, BA. Love it. God bless, Khaled Hosseini for his inspiration and his literary genius.

And James was conceived before their marriage? Ha!

(Your bias is showing, though. Poor Ginny. You have her so beaten down and whipped.)

Bias? What bias? *looks around* You know, I beat Draco up pretty bad sometimes too! Though I do think I give him happy endings most of time. Not in the Boy, but Cormac McCarthy is not Khaled Hosseini. Gads, I still cry more while reading KH's work since it is less stark than CM's (in which you just feel the bottom of your stomach drop instead).

Anyway, am a bit surprised that you like this one so much. Your reviews are shorter for the ones you like!

*laughs* Draco may get beaten up, but he always gets the happy ending if there's one to be had. Ginny is left to stew in misery. But you go, girl. Write it anyway you want, and I'll read it. No complaints here. Just observations.

Yikes! Is it true? Are my reviews shorter for the fics I like? Hmm... I'll have to remember that.
