We use a network inventory product at my place of business that was developed and is sold by a company located in Iceland. Occasionally, today for example, I get an email from someone named "Thor." I don't know why it amuses me so, but it does.
The new issue of
Harper's is excellent. I'm not a regular reader, but this issue contains an article calling for the impeachment of the president written by Lewis Lapham, and an article by Celia Farber titled "HIV Drugs and the Corruption of Science." The Farber article discusses Peter Duesberg (the scientist I wrote about
here) at some length and goes into great detail about why and how the medical community has become so corrupt. Lapham's article is one of the first I have seen that attempts to bring together all of the abuses of justice the Bush Administration has perpetrated on this country. It isn't surprising, but it is sickening and chilling.
In other unrelated and irrelevant-to-anything news, I'm revisiting my
Pogo book collection.
