I'm somewhere in the Walt Disney World. I'm in a place that has a man-made lagoon. This place has a beach. There are some fountains and this place is very huge!

It's a quick Disney related riddle to see if you're actually captivated by the introduction of yet another lenghty journal update.

No sense in teasing the chapters ahead; let's just get to it.

From my last entry, I have resigned from my Program Director position at the radio station. I left the reasoning to "personal reasons" and stepped aside. It was a hard decision to make; a decision I had been pondering for several weeks. Really it just turned out to be a job in which I didn't sign up for.

I was constantly told my role was thing and then told it was another. I walked into a powerless position and had no support. I'm not going to put forth any excuses. Long story short I felt it was best if I stepped aside and that is what I did.

I also feel as though I'll reep the rewards of my other duties in my life right now than this position would have. Now with a year or so to go until I graduate, it's probably best that I focus more on the television aspects that I wish to pursue after college.

Also with the Disney, fraternity, work and everything else...I'll certainly be treated better.

Speaking of work...the job at Comfort Inn is going very well. I LOVE the staff I work with and there is always motivation to keep everyone happy and to make the job fun. It can of course get very hectic and stressful when you try to give full, personalized attention to multiple people in front of you, along with everyone calling on the phones, etc. but it's a great job and I enjoy it.

OH! One great perk I love about working the job is that we've been told by my manager we have to be a guest. Yup -- Their paying for us to stay the night at teh hotel, but we have to call in a reservation, check-in, utilize the hotel's ameneities, eat breakfast, check-out, etc as a typical guest would do. I LOVE this idea but am amazed that it's actually being implemented. I've always thought you should experience your work as a normal person early on.

I would love to see the resort operations at Disney. Just to see hwo everything is handled there on a day-to-day basis. Everyone at Disney though expect long waits everwhere you go because you're at Disney!

Speaking of being at Disney...I'll be back at Disney over Christmas break!!! :-D I'll be there Dec. 17 - Jan. 7th.

You know something I've realized? It's struck me that I'll always work in the "odd jobs". Okay so there are thousands of odd jobs but working at a hotel, in TV News, at Walt Disney World? These are not normal jobs. When you travel you frequently stay in hotels but I'm not sure how often one wonders what it's like to work in the hotel. Same for Disney - Millions of people visit Walt Disney World each year, but how many of them wonder what it's like being part of a 55,000 member team?

So what else is new? A LOT and nothing. I've always got new excitment but never really care to share. If you care to know you can call me or something and ask.

In a short month I'll be moving out of my apartment at Copper Beech and moving into a town home with Heather RObinson, over on Oak Street. Sa-weet.

As August approaches that means two things. Summer schools is over and Leadership Safari beings. :) I'm already psyched for it!!!

OH! Speaking of psyched! PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: Dead Man's Chest!

Yes! I purchased my tickets early in the day and teh group was the theatre at 10 p.m. for the 11 p.m. showing on Friday night.

Here are my thoughts: WARNING: Spoilers Ahead!
I LOVED the ending. Not to say I was completely surprised or antyhing but I loved it. I also like the fact the characters Bootstrap Bill and Davey Jones were included in the film, but come on -- did they really have to have the whole sea-urchin thing to it? Seeing Bootstrap with the starfish and stuff? It's just a bit too sci-fi for me. Many critics have said this movie does nothing but lead up to POTC part three; this is true. A good flick non the less. Will I be returning to see it again? ABSOULTLY!

Okie -- well this entry has certainly warranted itself as "suffiently updated" so I'm going to squeek the breaks, drop the anchor and set sail on a few other things.

Enjoy life my friends -- I'll be on the corner til the light goes out.

BTW, if you guess EPCOT...you're wrong. If you guessed Typhoon Lagoon, you too are wrong. If you guessed Coronado Springs Resort; you're right. Congratulations.
