(no subject)

Ok, I'm like really bored right now, so here are all the poems that I've put up here. They are all connected in a way, see if you can figure it out.

NIBOR

Long ago there was a land
A land where few now go
The inhabitants all were giants
Giants ruled by a king
King Eiram was his name
He ruled his land with iron fists
Even though, his subjects adored him
All except for one that is
A farmer named Nibor
The one man who held a grudge
Eiram and Nibor were childhood friends
The closest cousins in the land they were
Yet one cloudy day Eiram's father died
He was King Mantlesaid the fourth
The second day from his passing
Eiram his son was crowned
Then Nibor was pushed away
Cast aside like an unwanted toy
Nibor who held a grudge it was
The man that few remembered
After years of living life forgotten
As old junk in a dust filled attic
Nibor who held a grudge it was
The man who took the knife
It was the middle of the night
He silently crept into the palace
Nibor who held a grudge it was
The man who came with knife in hand
In his wake a trail he left
A trail of suffering and death
All the men of the gaurd he slew
Nibor who held a grudge it was
The man who killed the king
The dead of night it was
And stealthily he moved
Into Eiram's room he crept
Thrice it was he stabbed him
Stabbed him in the chest
Nibor who held a grudge it was
The man who took his own life
When with the king he had finished
He swiftly left the palace
Four hours he ran and still nowhere he got
Finally he stopped running and took the knife in hand
His last living act was plunging deep the knife
Deep into his own chest he pushed it
Nibor who held a grudge it was
The man that few remembered
The man who took the knife
The man who came with knife in hand
The man who killed the king
The man who took his own life

THE STORY

The Beginning

It was a land quite far away
The land from which I came
A land with clear blue lakes
And trees of all manner
People from this land were kind and gentle folks
Filling all their time with learning crafts and lore
No time had they for weaponry or war
'Till that one day not to long ago
That fateful day with strong east winds
On that day the man blew in
The man who spoke of fighting
Of destruction, death, and waste
When he spoke his voice was like the pounding of the guns
He convinced the folks to fight for him
Do battle along side him
The people, though few they are,
Remember the story thus:

THE BATTLE

A cold and bleary day it was in the Vally of DeMour
The clouds hung low and the fog rolled in
A fog from across the sea
And with the fog there came two armies
One from far away
And at their head rode the stranger
Though stranger was he no more
For he was the mighty King of Evol
And Noissap was his name
He led the men against his foes
And with vict'ry he prevailed
Though great suffering he found
Half his army gave their life
For a cause that was not their own
They helped a stranger from a distant land before his name they knew
They helped him regain that which he lost
His land, his family, and most of all his pride
And in return what did they ask of him
Friendship, nothing more

THE DARK TUNNEL

A dark tunnel with light only at the end
The day will come when soon I must walk it
The angel of the night will pull me from this earthly form
The grim reaper soon shall come knocking upon my door
The day will come to soon I’m sure
No more pain and suffering upon this land
Free once again my soul shall soar
Above the place that now I call home
The spirits of old will welcome me
My place with my ancestors I must take up
He who makes us ere long I must meet
Like those who have gone before
A place in His kingdom I must fill
Nevermore will I walk upon the sands of this Earth
Nevermore will I hear birds singing in the trees
Once I have departed from this world
I wonder
Will I be remembered
Will my story be told to those I leave behind
Who will mourn over my cold form
Who would remember me in their prayers

SHIFTING MINDS

Early morning it was
The time you said you love me
By noon your mind had changed its course
A friend was all you wanted
Afternoon sun came with more changes
And speaking we were not
My heart was broken
My dreams all shattered
Yet in the evening
I called you up
And I apoligezed
You forgave me
And talking again were we
Now friendship is what I need
A good friend I've found in you
Love is what I was seeking
Yet a friend was all I found
Friendship is to easy
Something all can give
Love is something special
A bond two people share
But since you just want friendship
And noone's love at all
I guess you're not that special
A shifting mind is all you offer
So I must say goodbye
I don't want your friendship
Love is all I want.
