'Kay, so, we drove up to Portland and spent the night in a really perty hotel. We got up at four-ish and went to the airport and got on our first flight to Chicago. Then we got on another plane to Jackson, MS. My mom's dad, Jackie, picked us up in his GARGANTUION truck and took us to his and our grandma Mimi's house. We had a big "family reunion" type thing with both sides of the family at this awesome resturant called the Cock of the Walk. We stayed at Mimi and Jackie's house every night, but spent a lot of time with my dad's parents, Grandaddy and Alice (and their psycho dog Sadie). We swam a lot, visited the yact club, went to a cd, music, and book store, and ate dinner at Grandaddy's a LOT (he's a very good cook ^.^ ). We also ate at the Beagle Bagle (sorta' like Subway, but with bagles and SO much cooler) and Little Tokyo, where I had a LOT of sushi, and our waiters were this really cool otaku couple. We went to one of my many aunt's houses and saw a video of my cousin Sara's wedding and ate a lot of BBQ. @~@ We got early bday presents from our aunt and my uncle had a bday party (he's in his 50's and has really bad cancer, so no one expected him to live this long. It's really cool). My aunt gave me money to buy Baguette-kun as a combined bday/Christmas present. We went to the Jackson zoo and I got panda ears and a little monkey that looks like a lion. We also saw a replica of that huge t-rex they found, Sue, at the Natural History Museum. We visited lots of people, met a lot of relatives, ate a LOT of food, and had a really good time. ^.^
I am officially ordering Digimon some time this week (hopefully today), and my first day of High School is the day after tomorrow. @~@ I still need to buy a new ruler...
