GENERAL RULES
- Only one icon per entrant, per challenge.
- Post your icon and the URL to this post, as a comment. All comments are screened. If you would like to change your entry before the end of the challenge, you can do so as long as you delete your previous comment(s) to avoid confusion.
- All icons must fit LJ requirements (under 40kb, 100x100 px).
- Do not show your icon anywhere else until the current challenge is over (i.e. voting results for the challenge posted).
- Blending is allowed. No animations.
- Skips are no longer allowed.

CHALLENGE: Random Odd Colors
I picked 8 colors and randomly assigned them to sets of certain birth months. Depending on which month you were born in, you have the choice of two odd colors. Your icon must feature one of them. (Or both, if you're willing to do that, but it can just be one.)
If your birthday is in...Colors you can pick fromJanuary, May, or September• CREAM (a pale off-white color)
• MAROON (a deep red color, almost brown or purplish)
February, June, October• CORAL (a pink-orange mix)
• CYAN (a bright shade of greenish-blue (turquoise))
March, July, November• CHARTREUSE (a bright yellowish-green color)
• INDIGO (a dark shade in between blue and violet)
April, August, December• FUCHSIA/MAGENTA (a pinkish-purple color)
• OLIVE (a dark yellowish-green shade)
For example, since I'm born in September, I could submit a maroon icon. Or a cream icon. Or an icon that has cream and maroon as prominent colors. Let me know if you have questions.
