Title: Dead Weight Recipient: mami_san Author: genkischuldich Rating: PG-13 Summary: Schwarz Gen. Nagi is having trouble adapting to life in Schwarz and showing respect for his team-mates. Warnings: Language, casual violence.
I love this, all of this, from the characterizations to the dialogue to all the little details that round it out. I like the way you can feel Crawford & Schuldig's easy relationship and love Nagi's interactions with Schuldig. Farfarello is perfect. I like that Nagi's childish at times, but in all the right ways (stamping his foot, the way he thinks, the way he sulks...). Schuldig being a pirate, Farfarello bloodying Crawford's shirt, everything about Crawford, the enka song........ I could go on and on and on. 8D
Favorite lines:
This is my direct boss; the deputy leader of Schwarz. And he's a fucking idiot. ((Reminds me of that scene in the series, where Schuldig is beating Sakura to get the truth, and Nagi has to actually remind him he's a telepath. lawlz... ♥ ))
~
"An evil eye watches from the shadows..." "CCTV? On it."

I'm left alone, shaking, and I think I've got a chunk of that guy's brain on my cheek. Not that it matters. That was so cool.
They're tens, I telepathically tell Crawford via Schuldig. Definitely

Sorry I took so long to get back to you. I'm relieved you liked the story, although I'm surprised you didn't figure out it was me immediately. :) I mean, I killed Sa(ru)hashi...
I loved this! Not much stories are told from Nagi's perspective so this was twice as much enjoyment. I really liked how you interpreted Nagi's voice. He seemed like a real person here with all the hopes, fears (though hidden) and antipathy and mistrust of the whole world. And intelligence - smart of him to adjust his stylistic grades at the end ;).
Thank you very much for reading and I'm glad you liked it. I was worried about choosing first person POV, but when I'd written the first paragraph, I thought it was the best way to do things.
I don't really have plans for the mysterious man, unfortunately. I mainly wanted to hint that Nagi was now a member of an evil and restrictive organisation (many people gloss over the fact that Eszet all appear to be Nazis), but also that Schwarz aren't part of that mindset. Because I like them. :) In my personal canon, Crawford and Schuldig end up together once they're done with Eszet anyway.

One of my favorite lines is "Have you engaged in any anti-Eszet activities lately, Naoe?"
It also makes me wonder what mysterious man Schuldig was meeting up with.
