And so it goes...
Well, the second week of classes is over and I guess things are going pretty well. I'm enjoying all of my classes for the most part. My science class is a little weird. I have Dr. Busch and he's a really nice guy but he goes off on some whacky tangents and my friends and I are often asking each other, "What does this have to do with science??" But I suppose I will survive this class... do I really have a choice?? All of my classes have A LOT of reading. It's crazy!! But I'm really proud of myself because I've been keeping up with it! :-) Yay me!!!
So it snowed today like MAD!!! I had to work today from 8-3 and around 10 am it started to flurry. In a matter of 2 minutes it was coming down pretty heavy and it continued like that probably until about 5 or 6 o'clock. Commerce closed early today... 3 instead of 6. I was shocked!!! Hahaha! I always joke that Commerce will be like the people in the library in the movie "The Day After Tomorrow". We'll be the ONE place that's STILL open and providing shelter (and well, money I suppose) to everyone who needs it and we'll be lighting a fire in our lobby. LOL! Commerce is nuts about staying open. So I have off tomorrow... I'm wondering if the bank is going to open tomorrow or not. Since the snow stopped sooner than expected it should give them enough time to clear off roads and parking lots... but I guess it also depends on icing conditions and such. Our retreat that I requested off work for was cancelled. Figures. I'm not going to be able to go for the date that they rescheduled it. Oh well... as far as I'm concerned, I love the snow, but it's pointless if it doesn't cancel school.
So I'm turning 21 AND celebrating my 2 year anniversary with Chris in 17 days!!! Wahoo!!! The countdown is on!!! I've got the WHOLE WEEK lined up! February 8th (my birthday) I plan to celebrate with Chris. We will be going out to dinner for our anniversary and sharing a romantic evening together. February 9th (Wed) I plan to see if my sorority sisters and any other WCU friends would like to join me at Bennigan's for some celebrating after our COR. February 10th (Thurs) I plan to hit up the bars in West Chester if I can find a WC group to go with. February 11th (Fri) the loop (or at least bars in general) in Wilmington or Newark with my Commerce Crew and other such Delaware friends. And February 12th and 13th (Sat and Sun) I plan to spend at home with my family getting schnockered! :-) Oh yes friends, it's going to be a week of alcoholic fun! So, we'll see how that turns out. But if anyone's interested in joining me on any one of these select nights (except for the 8th of course, that's a private engagement ;-), drop me a comment and let me know!!!!
