Just what I needed.
Well as the Rolling Stones say.... If you try sometimes you just might find you get what you need, well this weekend I got just what I needed. Things at work have been busy and a little hectic lately, and I've been putting in lots of hours, which isn't a bad thing, but sometimes life just gets to be a whole lot on top of you. After last week it was definately getting to be one of those weeks where you're just about to scream. Friday evening Bart and I left enroute to see Tiff for the weekend. It was so relaxing to be in the mountains once again, and to just get away from the drag.
As I've said many times I have this connection to the mountains, and I feel like I am home whenever I get up there in the cool air, and this time was no different. Now most people wouldn't consider it a great trip when you help take care of a 2 year old all weekend, but that was part of what made it so enjoyable. There is something about getting in the floor and playing with playdough and all kinds of other toys that was just relaxing and made it that much better. Then there is sitting outside on the deck with a fire at night and it just makes the world melt away. Unfortunately it's back to the real world tomorrow, but it was a great weekend, and I wish it could last a long time!
