“Cris…”
“Yea?” Cristiano turned his face to Wayne.
“Happy day always ends sooner than you thought, while bad day passes really slow… Don’t you think so?”
The Portuguese knows what he meant. “I agree with ya…”
Wayne moves nearer and wraps around his waist and rests his head on the winger’s broad chest.
Cris speaks, “But…with you by my side, bad day flies faster.” Wayne smiles.
He continues. “I play like shit today.. Boss shouldn’t have put me as striker.”
Wayne chuckles when he hears this coming out from the full-of-confidence player. “Couldn’t agree more… I’m a better striker..”
“Hate to say this, but you are indeed better than me in that position.” Cris said.
“Do you think Gunners will lose to Blackburn?” Wayne asked.
“Yes… if not a draw would be good too…”
“Do you think we can win again this season?”
“Definitely yes…”
“Do you think we can beat Gunners in FA?” The British lad asked again.
“Wayne…don’t lose your confidence…we can do it…you…me…our understanding our skills…we can bounce back from the defeat, right?”
Wayne just nod silently. Cristiano is always the positive one… Anything is possible to him.
