Title: The Reality (4/10)
Rating: PG
Pairing: Wayne Rooney/Cristiano Ronaldo, Alex Ferguson, Carlos Queiroz
Disclaimer: This is definitely fake. Don't sue me coz I already said it's NOT TRUE. None of them are mine, although I wish I could own one of them :P
Summary: Wayne asked Cristiano to marry him. Will he say yes? What will happen to their life?
In the end, Wayne did not answer the call. Instead, he switched off his mobile.
Cristiano has leaved a message on his house phone. “Why aren’t you answering? How could you do this to me!” The last line reminds him of Colleen.
Then, there is another message. “Come down now!”
Uh-oh! It’s the Boss.
Wayne and Cristiano have been called by their manager. Both have to be escorted by securities as their secret relationship has drawn the attention of media. Loads of paparazzi waiting outside Old Trafford.
In the room, the angry man throws a paper in front of them. “What is this?!”
“I’ve said it many many times to all of you. Keep your personal life low! Don’t you people get it?!” He growled.
“I’m sorry. It’s not Cris’s fault. It’s mine. I… I shouldn’t have talk to Stevie in public. Sorry..” Wayne apologized. “What? You told him about us?” Cristiano asked in surprise.
“Stop! I don’t care now because I have an important match ahead. Two of you… I’m dropping both of you.” Alex said and walked out of the room.
“Wait.” Wayne stopped in on his way. “Please… don’t do this to him. It’s not his fault. It’s mine. I’ll take all the blame. Please, sir. Let him play…”
“I can sell Beckham, why can’t I drop both of you?” Alex walked into the dressing room and ordered the lads to get ready to Wembley for a light training.
Carlos, the assistant, walks to Wayne and speaks softly. “I’m sorry. But it’s the best thing for all of us. Players must focus on a game, especially a big one. I think it’s the best for both of you to take a long holiday, until the public has lost interest in the news. Sorry…” He patted his back and walked away.
The big night finally arrives and the Devils are missing their two star players. Half the fans expected that the manager will drop them, half chanting for them.
First half has just ended. The Scousers are leading by a goal scored by the skipper.
The atmosphere in Devils’ dressing room is bad. The manager is shouting to everyone for playing badly.
