Another productive day!
I stayed up until 3 AM finishing some Goddess dolls. I like how they came out, for the most part. I also cut out the parts for two new dolls.
Then I went to sleep for a bit. lol
After some bumming around the house, I played phone tag with the Whitesboro Middle School. To make a long story short, I have a fieldwork site at last. Yay! Now all I have to do is figure out what days I'll observe. It's one less thing to worry about!
I've pretty much dedicated my break to sorting out things for the craft fair. Ron and I went to three different buildings in Utica before we found the correct office. I got hard copies of everything Ashley sent me on LJ. I had tried to apply online but the site was screwy seeming. I like dealing with real people anyway. I hope to have the application completed and turned in by Wednesday at the latest. Either way, I would have been far less prepared without Ash's help. She's awesome. :)
We then went to Walmart because I wanted to get some food for the ritual tonight. I also needed stuffing for the upcoming dolls. Then we went to Staples because I wanted a receipt book, a record keeping book, and tags. Ron bought signs. lol We then went *back* to Walmart (groan) to get a drawer organizer for Ron's room. He was going to buy one at Staples but I bought a bigger one for much less at Walmart. I know... I know... But we are poor college students. lol
I hope to get a lot done on a doll tonight after the ritual. I have an idea of what I'd like to do, but sometimes the dolls take on much different personalities.
