So clarifying again, the stuff you're not seeing is bodyshop, not build or buy?

Are all your downloads from the clothing category missing?
When you say "stray boolprop," what are you talking about? That sounds like you mean you have a cheat going on (the kind where you type in "boolprop" and then a phrase that alters properties of the game). But those expire when you close the game, and I can't remember even one of them that is relevant (not that I know all the cheats). But could you be referring to your startup file? People put cheats in there that they want to have start with the game every time, and also they put in aliases for cheats that they use a lot and want to have a shorter name for.
Or do you mean a mod? Do you think you might have a mod that affects the bodyshop catalogs? If so, you want to try removing all of those (just cut them out and place them elsewhere on your computer, don't delete them), and if that solves the problem put them back a few at a time till you figure out which one caused it.
I'm trying to think--I thought I read somewhere about someone having a similar problem. Have you browsed the help forums at MTS and GOS? (search doesn't work well at either of those places, so if I want to discover something I just wade through as much as I can stand).

Yes, I did have a "boolprop" cheat that caused a glitch, and so i quit the game. Coming back in seemed to fix that - so it must have indeed expired. I dont have any cheats/mods in my start up file. I didnt even know that a thing people do!
As to the forums-- this was the first place I asked. No one had ever mentioned this might be an issue in their CC posts, so I figured I should throw the question out in a place(ie LJ) I know the hang of.
