Summary: Heechul's in a foul mood nowadays and Jay's not helping...sort of.
A/N: Could be written after the fic "Where in the world is Kim Heechul?" but could also be read as a stand alone.

Heechul was in a foul mood.
He actually welcomed the New year with a tantrum.
And who wouldn't be when right after the Gayo, he was officially grounded. And not just any kind of punishment...it's the kind where the management even made an effort of giving him his own personal prison guard. Not to mention the fact that his passport and visa where taken and locked somewhere inside SME's impenetrable *Kyuhyun scoffs* vault. ("No more disappearing acts Kim Heechul." One of the managers had the gall to grin at him. A few days later this certain manager submitted his resignation while muttering 'I'm not scared. I'm not scared of the undead!' )
Nonetheless, no one asked him why.
No one wanted to talk about it in fear of having his wrath but somehow, it's affecting his bandmates. They sort of know but doesn't want to confirm it. Well...actually Donghae did and he got a shoe on his face. If Heechul was able to do it to Donghae, they're lucky if they got out of the room alive. (This of course lead into an hour long Leeteuk Monologue and Heechul had fallen asleep around the first ten sentences.)
Knowing his bandmates won't stop pestering him...he made a conclusion.
He's a great actor so of course he just had to do what he usually does.
ACT.
No one would notice, right?

It was a lazy afternoon and surprisingly, he has a free schedule and no one else so he had the whole dorm for himself. Jungmo and Jay dropped by (They were actually threatened but it's just semantics.) to accompany our dear princess.
"Hyung...we are actually busy. You do know we'll be having our comeback this month and we are suppose to be brainstorming for our next MV so we really don't have--" Jungmo was cut off when Jay put a hand on his mouth while nodding his head towards Heechul who's currently sitting on the sofa and staring at the wall. Jungmo slumped before giving a small nod to tell the other that he understood. Jay sighed before taking his hand off and walked towards Chul.
"Hey girlfriend, mind if I sit down?"
Heechul just looked at him before scooting over. Jay sat beside him while Jungmo took the armchair. A few seconds of silence passed and Jungmo can't stand it. So he took out a small notebook and started jotting down ideas.
"What's that?" Heechul broke the silence.
"We're working on some MV ideas hyung."
"What's the song about?"
"Letting Go." Jay saw something flicker on Heechul's eyes before it faded into disinterest.
"Why don't you have parted lovers then? You know, all those cliche' crap?" Heechul looked like someone who's talking about the weather but Jay and Jungmo knows better.
"I know! I'll be in your MV. They you'll have a Chinese as my counterpart and the story would be like about parted lovers because someone was a dickhead who doesn't know how to take care of their health and..." Jay took Heechul's hand and coaxed him to lay his head on his thigh while he listed on what should happen and will be seen in the MV.
"And of course you have to play in that tower! It's a landmark and fans are familiar with it and then maybe can we burn the Chinese in the end?" Heechul looked at them with wide, guileless eyes. Jungmo looked at Jay who just nodded.
"That's a nice idea Hyung...I'll pitch that idea on our next meeting."
Heechul beamed. "Good."

"What can you say?" Heechul asked Jay the moment he posted his entry. The other just got back from a performance and he wants to show his support.
"It's nice girlfriend." Jay replied as he finished reading the entry. He wish Heechul would not ask him to elaborate but the other knew him far too well.
"But what?"
Jay took a moment to reply.
"It seems to me like you're a bitter ex-lover."
At that Heechul promptly hang up.

He got a fucking flu and he can't breathe through his clogged nose.
Damn Leeteuk and the rest of Super Junior for making him miserable because he knows they were enjoying everything.
Damn management for messing up his life.
Damn Beijing for being so cold.
Damn him for not being there when...
"Here." A cool voice broke his musing. He looked at the owner of the hand holding a blue pill before giving him a lethal glare. Well...as lethal as one with a cold could muster.
"You shouldn't be here."
"Why not? Last time I know, China is a free country."
Heechul scoffs. "Free country...you wish."
The other gave a sign before putting the bitter medicine on the other's lips. Heechul tried avoiding it but the other was stronger so he swallowed it, grimacing at the taste. The struggle left them in an awkward position that seems wrong in all levels of morality yet feels like they found the only place that they want to be in. However, reality sets in and they reluctantly let each other go.
"Hey...do I sound like a bitter ex-lover to you?"
"Sort of." the other smiled as Heechul slapped his arm. He then took the hand that did thta before holding it against his lips.
"You sound bitter like the flu medicine..."
"Yah!"
"...but you are not my ex-lover."

Donghae was grinning nonstop when he came down for breakfast. They'll be leaving in a few hours and Leeteuk assigned him to wake up Heechul for he's the least likely to be killed next to Kibum who was conveniently not there. Yet here he was with no Heechul in sight.
"Where's Heechul Hae?"
"In the place where he truly belongs." At that Donghae skipped away leaving a wondering Leeteuk if he could postpone their flight for a few hours more.
"You owe me Kim Heechul."
A/N: I...don't know where this came from. I'm suppose to write the 7th chapter of Chocolate love but I wrote this instead. D: I just felt frustrated that I can't seem to find any updates on Super Show Beijing. >__< Not to mention the fact about that TRAX MV and Heechul's latest Cy entry. LOL
