Good news #1:  I am officially
waqaychay's love slave for life.  Meg!!!  The package got here today!!!  I will be in Billy bliss in a very short time.

Good news #2:  The hospital that did my husband's surgery has reviewed our application for financial assistance, and we were awarded 100% waiver of all the outstanding bills.  That is over $2000.00 that we do not owe any more.  Sometimes being poor is not so bad.

Good news #3:

Hubby and I got there around eleven AM - my mother was babysitting Will while we enjoyed our anniversary date.  The first stop was a magic show.  The guy was funny and very good.  Then we walked around for a bit.  I was hungry so I got a steak on a stick.  We made our way to the mud pit where the performers did "Romeo and Juliet: The Dirty Version" and it was dirty in more ways than one.  It was raunchy, plus the actors repeatedly threw themselves into a large mud pit.  If you were in the first few rows, you were in the splash zone.  Great show.  Then we walked around some more and got a bit more to eat.  Hung around the human chess stage to listen to some Celtic music.  Then we watched the Men-In-Kilts contest - 12 lovely men in their lovely kilts.  My favorite won.  He was f***ing hot!!!  Next it was off to see Looney Lucy and Floppy Nardsquatter do their X-rated show.  They had great audience participation.  Some more walking around, and then off to the joust.  One of the knights rode his horse through a wall of flames.    Afterwards, we hung around the Imaginarium where the man who makes these cool dragon puppets was giving puppets to some lucky ticket holders.  We didn't win, of course, but I will definitely be buying one of those dragons - when I have money.  Alas, it was then time to go home.

We are going to try and go back for the halloween program.  I really love that place.

And now - I'm off for some video viewing.

family, friends, celtic love
