Hiya,
If you really like a band, should you have all their albums?? Would you keep an album you hated because it was theirs?? Do you think music you grew up with ends up appealing more??
Depends. If a band has been going for years, at least a couple of their albums are bound to disappoint. I have a couple I played once, didn't like, & haven't played since. What's even worse is they were ones I was looking forward to hearing, so now I'd say no.
Yes! I was played loads of weird stuff no-one's heard of, most of it depressing & older than me. As a morbid little country girl, it was fine.
I'd make myself like what everyone at school said they liked. I wouldn't be different. I even went to the point of going to a concert I knew I wouldn't like; luckily just the one. (I'm tearing up)
Years of angst followed .......now guess what my collection features.
