This is one of the scariest things I've seen yet.....
From today's Senate Judiciary Meeting: (the official transcript isn't up yet, but when it is.. I suggest you read it)
Herr Gonzales: "I meant by that comment that the Constitution doesn't say that every individual in the United States or every citizen has or is assured the right of habeas corpus. It doesn't say that. It simply says that the right of habeas corpus shall not be suspended."
That statement should send chills down the spine of every American. I wonder if it'll get news-time?
Would someone please tell me how this administration isn't fascist?
