Random thoughts while playing BBS (no spoiler)
- Started with Terra, like everybody else. I tried so very hard to avoid spoilers, and I’m glad it shows because it’s probably the first time a KH game has many surprises left for me. I didn’t buy the guide book either (the French one is not out yet, if it will ever be), so I experiment blindly with gameplay, it’s fun.
- I wonder what happens when you change character, do you start again from scratch at lv 1 or do you keep at least some capacities? What about treasures and stickers? If they are not interdependent, can you go back to the previous character to complete their features?
- Currently about to go to Neverland. I’m not going as fast as I could because I’m completely addicted to that monopoly-like game where you can gain and improve capacities (don’t know the English name and I’m afraid to look it up on the internet because of spoilers). I can't stop playing this thing!
- Man, were the princes awfully bland back in the old Disneys days. I’m happy this game gives more screentime to girls, but I’m missing a good Aladdin or Shang. Unless you count Stitch as a prince. I love Stitch ♥
- Little sad detail: Merlin is already living in Radiant Garden in BBS. Which means that he didn’t install there along with Leon’s gang between KH and KHII, never went to Traverse Town after his world was destroyed (see my silly headcanon crumbling) but worse, it means unless there’s some retcon somewhere there will never be a world based on the Sword in the Stone in KH3. No Madam Mim, no Wart! My heart is bleeding ;_;
In other news this weekend I also watched the three episodes of BBC Sherlock and I enjoyed them a lot. It’s like an awesome AU coming to life and I’m not even in the SH fandom! I find it extremely depressing to have to wait until next year to get a sequel :(
