Why am I not sleeping yet?

I'm not in the Evangelion fandom, though I have a special relationship with the series (the first manga I've ever bought, and one of the first - if not the first - anime I've watched with CDs on a computer...) Anyway, I didn't know this manga existed. In France we only have this fugly spin-off, but Gakuen Datenroku doesn't look so bad... Story-wise, it's just hilarious, because I have the feeling I'm reading a long high school AU doujinshi of an author who reads Persona 3 too much. Shinji has more interactions with Kaworu than Rei (which is fun and fangirl-tastic)... But where is my typical Evangelion!Angst (TM)?
I'll have to keep an eye on it, if only for the huge subtext. I wanted to link some pages to show you and squee, and then I realized I could link half the pages 8D (I discovered its existence through a squee post about the latest chapter too XD) Wow, all this brings back memories <3
