What a couple of weeks!
Daniel’s visit was amazing! I am not sure I really have any doubts about moving to Minneapolis in September (outside of the normal OHMYEFFINGGODIAMSTARTINGOVER fear). This is a good thing. Daniel’s little sickness was OBVIOUSLY not due to food. Why do you ask? Because I have never felt so sick in my life as I have since Sunday. I am starting to feel better, but the world is still a tad dizzy at times. Oh and thank god for solid poo (yeah TMI, but you will get over it).
It was nice playing house again. We didn’t get to cook as much together since we both book ended his visit with illness; however, we spent a lot of time together. It is really sad that all of his favorite places in Iowa City have been destroyed by flood waters. I know that he really wanted to be there to help sand bag, but I was really glad that he was safe in my apt. I didn’t really want to have to worry about his skinny ass floating down the Iowa River.
I worked from home yesterday and got A LOT done. I REALLY hope they allow me to work from home in Minneapolis so I don’t have to look for a new job. That would be WONDERFUL!!! I am sure it won’t happen, but I am going to keep the positive thoughts going.
At Pride I was surprised to see that a small theater company is going to be doing BARE in July. It better be good. It pisses me off that I am leaving sometimes. I have known about this show FOR A LONG LONG LONG LONG damn time (before ANYONE here has heard of it I am sure) and nobody would listen to me. I would have produced it myself, but that’s hard to do when you are planning to move away. But, all is well. At least Indianapolis will get to see it. If it sucks (which I am sure it will) I am going to be pissed. The people in the Pride Parade representing the cast…were…not some of my favorite indy actors (except for maybe one). We will see friends…we will see.
Sad Face...he's gone!!
More to come later!
