Black Cloud
What an odd week!
Daniel clubwonderslut was put in the hospital and had his appendix removed and I am in Indiana helpless.
At the same time, one of my good college friends lost her battle with Cancer and I am in Indiana helpless.
Then again…
Daniel is doing really well and will be going home later today. If I wasn’t already taking a week off to see him at the end of the month I would have been there the second I found out. This is the part that sucks about having the person you love so far away. GRRRR!!! It’s hard to hear someone on the phone in pain and not be able to do anything for them. BUT…..he’s fine. Yeap…he’s fine and I will see him in a few days!!
I don’t think Becky really LOST the battle with Cancer really. Lord was she a fighter. This wasn’t her first time at the Rodeo with it. It’s amazing when someone your own age (28) passes away from something that is usually associated people of an older persuasion. Oh, and she was such a talented person. She was one of the first people that I met and became friends with in my freshman dorm.
What a way to end the week! All in all…I think the light is shinning through the black clouds.
