hope promises loving compassion
i recently received the latest issue of the sun and as usual am completely enamored by the deep cutting portrayal of humanity contained within its pages. nearly every piece ends up hitting me hard, no matter the topic at hand. it lets me, forces me to slow down and savor it, because of the honesty and the struggle and the sometimes difficult truths. it takes me both outside myself into others lives and into my own being, my soul. i'm reminded again and again of our connection, of the good (though simply good is not the word), the simple yet tremendous acts, the power and responsibility we each carry with us, and most importantly gather glints of hope and inspiration and guidance in navigating life's trials and tribulations. if anyone is even slightly interested i would not hesitate to send you a subscription, as it has quickly become something i would not want to live without and as such would love to pass it along as it has been passed onto me.
