SPN Fanfic: Human

“Dean,” Cas began nervously, his voice heavy with concern.
“What’s up?” Dean asked, his eyes darting to his companion. Something was off, Cas looked pale, his forehead was creased and he was cradling his stomach with his right hand. Even covered in blood he had never looked so… human.
“I think I’ve been poisoned.”
“Dude we ate breakfast together and I’m right as rain. When did you start feeling this way?”
“About half an hour ago, as we began climbing the mountain.”
“That’ll do it.”
“Are you suggesting the mountain is cursed?”
“I’m suggesting you’re car sick.”
Cas took a moment to process this new information. “This is a new and most unpleasant sensation.”
“I’ll tell you want’s unpleasant, cleaning spew out of my car,” Dean warned. “You throw up on baby you’re cleaning her with a toothbrush. So don’t.” He sighed and lowered his window. “Stick your head out the window, it helps.”
Cas nodded dumbly and obeyed. Even with their ‘profound bond’ Cas was not sure that as a vulnerable and powerless human he would be capable of surviving Dean’s wrath if he vomited in the Impala.
