Pussy pussy pussy!
Princess and I are now mummies! (that's "mommies", we're not all wrapped up in bandages!... though that would be fun... hmm... it is a wet afternoon... anyway!)
We have adopted a pussy! His name is Chopper and he is sooo loverly! He's a bit shy just now, and keeps getting stuck behind the sideboard (yes, we have a sideboard - does that make us old?). He hasn't ventured out of the living room yet, though he has stuck his nose out the door. But then he runs back into the living room all nervous like. Bless! Must be the dragon we keep under the stairs frightenning him off....
Apparently, he's a very dominant male - so no doubt by the end of the week we shall be calling him "Sir" and deferring to his every whim...
But I do think now we must be sensible girlies, because this is a big responsibility! In keeping with this monumental occasion, we have already celebrated with a bottle of whisky - one each for us and Chopper. I think whisky will be a rare treat, though... he seems to be cursed with maudlin drunkeness....
