I still think the whole Easter holiday is a little ridiculous. No offense to those who celebrate it and take its religious "roots" seriously or anything, but it's sort of hard to buy into the whole Peter Cottontail thing when you understand the pagan origins and all. Still, I hope those of you who are into it had a good one.

Thanks for the egg, ( Read more... )

lonely winchester is lonely, easter greetings, cheer up emo sammy, i'm too smart to enjoy any holiday ever

Someone who thinks the same way! Finally! I have no purpose to celebrate Easter. I'm not a religious person. As for disappearences... blame Wonderland. That's what I've been doing for about a week or so now. It doesn't get me anywhere, but it's nice to have something to curse at.

"Religious" is just a funny term, considering that none of the major religions even got their own doctrines and history completely right. And I've been blaming this place ever since the day I first set foot in it.

I don't think we've met, have we? I'm Sam Winchester.

Lol it's actually Rosemarie but xD rebelroses April 6 2010, 04:02:57 UTC
[Rose laughed slightly, nodding]

Oh, I totally agree. I never really got into religion. Lissa tried to get me to goto church because "it's good for me", but she gave up on that quickly. Anyways... I'd rather sleep then goto church in the morning.

But, anyways... It's nice to meet you, Sam. Rose Hathaway.

[She put out her hand, but failed to add in her actual birth name because she thought it sounded like an old timer's name.]

Just don't call him Sammy, and he won't care. :D wayward_sam April 6 2010, 04:44:20 UTC
I like to think of myself more spiritual than religious... but even that's changed, after some of the things I've come across.

[He smiled at her as he returned the greeting.]

Are you new here? Sorry, I've been too focused on the people who've left to notice the new people.

[Lol then we're even. You call her Rosemarie she bitch slap you and she calls you Sammy and you'll drop kick her]

Ah, that makes sense.

[Rose nodded.]

Yeah, I think I've been here for about a week now. Maybe less then that, I don't know. I can't even remember how long it's been already. It's understandable. It must be kind of lonely when they leave randomly.

[He'll probably react with more like a glare, at least unless he knows she can take a hit.]

Time works weirdly here, so I can understand not knowing how much time has passed. You get used to it after a while. And... well, one of the guys who left is someone who had a lot of answers about my future, so yeah, I kinda wish he was still around, even if I get the impression he didn't like me.

[No worries. She's a tough son of a bitch. xD She doesn't just throw out punches and cower to the floor when being punched back.]

Ah, I can understand that. It's odd. There's a guy named Christian from where I'm from, but like... in a way we are good friends... One day we'll be the best of buddies and then the next we'll be strangling each other.

[Good to know~]

Are you sure you're not just siblings? Because that's how I feel about my brother every day.

I'm possitive. Besides, his only family left is his aunt. I was about ready to smack her across the head, but if Demitri was happy, then I wouldn't do it. Turns out he didn't think of her that way, thank god. His parents... well... needless to say, they pretty much did suicide in a sense. If I got into the mechanics of it, you'd probably be afraid of me or something. I was explaining to Poland and he freaked out on me. I think it's fine now, but I'm not sure that he took it that well.

Sounds... complicated. But for the record, I don't get freaked out very easily. My life sort of reads like a bad horror movie with an unlimited number of even-worse sequels.

Oh, so I might as well just say it. There's no point in hiding it here at Wonderland. At home, if we were out of the school area, we kept it to ourselves.

So, here it is short and sweet. I'm a vampire. Though I'm a Dhampir. A dhampir is kind of like a half-breed compared to a Moroi.

Oh, and Christian's parents? They became strigoi on their own free will. Otherwise known as the stereotyping that everyone does with vampires. Not all of us are bad, only strigoi and people who turn into them. Although, some of them are bitches.

I gave up thinking that it needed to be a secret. As long as Lissa is safe and the time stops back home, I'm fine.

Huh... so there are different classes of vampires where you're from? That's interesting.

You showed me yours, so I guess I should show you mine.

I'm what's commonly known as a hunter. My brother sums it up best: we save people and hunt things. Notably evil things that pose a real threat, predominantly demons, vengeful spirits, and the like. I've... come across vampires once, but I can't say I know a whole lot about them other than the common myths and legends (that all ended up being wrong in my world anyway). But before you get the wrong idea, I'm not going to start hunting you down or do anything stupid; one of my closest friends here is a demon, and I've got my reasons for judging most things on a case-by-case basis.

No, I know. I didn't think you would. Vampires aren't widely known. At least, not the truths of it. We sleep, we can eat, we don't turn into bats, we don't sleep in coffins. Pretty much, we're nearly just as human as actual humans are. The only thing is that we have fangs and might be faster/stronger. Moroi are usually royal and have magic abilities that they specialize in, but yeah. A hunter sounds like fun, too. It's kind of what I do, except I hunt down strigoi.

The vampires in my world are basically that: fairly human blood-drinkers with eternal youth who can only be killed through decapitation. Whether or not they're human in terms of souls or anything is up for debate, since they're usually in hiding and don't really come out much to be studied. As for being a hunter... I never found it fun. It's just not my thing, and even if it were, I don't know if it's supposed to be fun.

That's kind of true. We don't have eternal youth and grow old just like any other human would. The only ways to kill a strigoi are to either:

A) Stake them in the heart with pure silver stakes. That's the method I use mostly, but it's not as easy as it sounds. It's not wooden stakes. That can faze them for a few minutes, but that's all it will do.

B) Decapitate them and then set them on fire. This has to be the hardest way to do it. It's not easy to decapitate someone. I've only done it once and I don't ever want to have to do it again. I was in a mood of insanity at the time with ungodly strength out of no where. It was probably the rage/sorrow of having Mason killed in front of me

Either way will probably kill anyone if you think of it, but those are the only two successful ways to do so with strigoi. You absolutely cannot hesitate, either. The moment you do, you might find yourself blacking out and falling on the ground in pain and then nothing. Never hesitate when in a battle with a strigoi. It's very dangerous and it's exactly ( ... )

I'll keep that in mind if I ever come across a strigoi. Though, really, it'll be a bit of a job stopping any vampire I might come across and asking them what kill methods work best on them.

... I'm sorry you had to go through that, though. I've watched a lot of people die because of vamps or werewolves or demons... I lost my parents that way, though I don't remember my mom. So... yeah. I'm sorry.

I can also relate when it comes to migraines. I used to get visions... real brainbreakers that didn't do much for attempts at normalcy.
