i got a date with the night
Last Friday I went to coffeehouse with Jason. "With" is a very loose term BECAUSE HE TOTALLY DITCHED ME WITH HOUSTON UGHHH WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
[random insert: did anyone else realize that Houston has a girlfriend?! I was walking around in the lunchroom and I saw this chick sitting on top of this blond kid and I was like NO WAY no way. Is that Houston NO it can't be Houston 'cuz it CAN'T be Houston 'cuz the girl's not curling up in terror BUT GUESS WHAT IT /WAS/ EEEeEeEeeeEeeewww]
Coffeehouse was alright, the only reason why it was funny was because of Genna and Boris. Graduates, I know. Jason and I eventually left early and talked at his house, waiting for everyone else to come. It was a mini parrrttyy in thurrr. It was like... Lynette, Calvin, Simon, Ayumi, Amy. And by party I mean nonstop poker (again), junk food (again), DELICIOUS MUFFINS (first time! thanks Ames!), and Super Monkey Ball (again.).
That was really useless of me to report because we hang out like this like... every day. I bet when yearbooks come back and we're all writing in each others books, the ONLY thing we're going to remember about each other is Jason's house and poker. Honestly. And this isn't even that unique of a bonding experience 'cuz Jason invites EVERYONE to do the same thing. HAhahhahhaaaaaaa......
Oh, but I do have news! Belle & Sebastian in two weeks, baby!!! AND DUDE I didn't find out 'til this week but THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS IS OPENING FOR THEM OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!! I'm so stoked. I also bought way overpriced tickets to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in April. I'm not sure if I should have done that, but I heard that they were really awesome live. And Karen O is a fucking badass so I mean... why not? 50$ a ticket isn't so bad if you think about it? ANYways, my brother is still iffy on whether or not he wants to go with me, but if anyone else is interested in going to see the Yeah Yeah Yeah's for $50, let me know. Then we can be all chill and shit. But I think this date overlaps with the week I'll be hosting another Swiss student. Haha, maybe I can go with her! Hahaha,...
Hey, I got into Irvine. Also got rejected from UCLA. My first rejection! Well, out of two schools so far--I don't like the odds of that, haha. Oh well, congratulations to everyone who did! (Christine, Karen ... ) :):) I'm not particularly bummed out, but I still hope I get accepted to UCSD or Davis, my top two choice UCs.
PS. KARENNNNNNNN I don't know how often you read livejournal, but I'm gonna leave the drawing in your mailbox tomorrow! I couldn't finish it during lunch, and what I had at the time was pretty shitty so :D YES. Yes. I have Yearbook 3rd, so it won't be there until after. :) Sorry + thanks !
