Wow! 2005 is over. I don't think I made any resolutions last year, so here are some for this year
1. Be more mindful of where I put things
2. Be meaner
3. Spend less money, save more money (as opposed to spending less, but losing it)
4. Procrastinate less
5. Study more
6. Stop deceiving my teachers
MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm and I think that's it. Personal goals this year are to get something published (I'm considering submitting something to Tokyopop or Yaoi Press) and get at least one doujinshi printed before 2006 ends. I'm thinking of putting together a binder with printed copies of all the oekaki/cg work I've ever done, just for my own reference. It might be fun!
What have I been doing this break? Last last night was the totally jacked New Year's party. I felt really bad for Nandini,... it would have been nice if she had opened up the entire house to us though. Party in the garage was a little boring. DDR turned out to be pump, ping pong is impossible in the dark, dancing with 10 people is only fun for so long, and truth or dare was just... the same raunchy a gajillion times over. EXAMPLE!

YEAH. We are such teenagers. At one point there was just this portion of the party where the girls had lap dance face-offs. It was really weird. YOU GUYZ ARE SICk . I think it would have been way more fun to have a little party of our own.
Did I mention I got a new mp3 player? It is my adored child. iAUDIO X5, baby. It supports every music file type, including FLAC, which is flawless music quality. No need for shitty iTunes! It also has an internal radio. Plus, it can play videos and display pretty kickass quality pictures. Not to mention, it can record voice and record directly from a TV, CD player, radio, phonograph (the fuck why would I ever want that, haha)... It can also display documents and display lyrics to songs when they play, if you upload them. And of course, since it's basically an external harddrive, it can store any type of file and transfer things from computer to computer. Yes, I know. It is hardcore. My crappy Xmas was totally made up in this one tiny mp3 player.
TV! Yes. TV and movies were a large portion of my break. We kickstarted the break watching Brokeback Mountain on the friday it premiered. Yeahh, baby. Heath Ledger is fantastic in this movie. I mean, yes yes, it contained gay cowboys yes, that is a reason why I liked that movie, but in its own defense, the movie was pretty intense. Heath is so great in this movie!!!!! ARGH. I .. I can't even form words. Too good. HahahahHAHAHHA OMG I want to watch this again. Both Jason and Ayumi have seen it twice, I 'm jealous!! URGHHHAFDSHGAHLG bubble I want to see it again !!!!!
Memoirs of a Geisha, we saw on... um... Tuesday was it? Monday that break started? Heehee, I had Ayumi translate all the Japanese dialogue for me :] Really pretty movie, but not very good. The best part of the movie for me was when Saiyuri does that debut dance thing. That was pretty cool.
Watched the rest of Firefly and rewatched Serenity. Ugh, I hate Fox! Why would they cancel such a great show? Okay, no, I know why, but still. Even though it's sci-fi... wait, what channel hosted X-Files? Was that Fox? ROOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR X-Files is so bad, but it lasted so long whyyyyyyyyyyyyy FIIIIIRRRRRREEEEEFLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GARAAAAAAAAAAOOOORRRRR !!!!! I really like Mal. My heart was his during the episode where Jayne betrays them and Mal threatens to kill Jayne. Ugh, so fine. Simon is really adorable too :] After watching Firefly and rewatching Serenity, I realized Simon became much more kickass in the movie. AND OMG THE GIRL WHO PLAYS SIMON'S SISTER IS SO HOT !!!!!! SERIOUSLY, NO KIDDING !!!!! She's more gorgeous than any of the other girls on the show, for serious !!
Started rewatching Lost with Jason, Amy, and Tim during break. Well, Simon and Ayumi watched too, but it was mostly with the former. Rewatching season 1 made me realize how much season 2 is sucking. I mean... I guess it's not bad, but it is ominous. This show could very easily get very bad, very fast. I heard that the writers are just winging the plot thus far, so that means they don't really have anything planned for Lost? And Lost is one of the most popular shows on TV so it's like... I'm sure they'll milk the show for all its worth. Yes. I foresee a very bad ending for this show. I hope the writers decide to end the show on Season 3 or something. I want this show to get wrapped up soon. I think this is why shows like Arrested Development and Firefly are so good. Since they are/were constantly on the verge of being cancelled, the writers take no chances to save anything for later, and serve all the good stuff immediately. There's no time for the series to rot. Mmm.
There are still so many movies I want to see but haven't seen yet. This includes Walk the Line, Rumor Has It, The Producers, ... um.. what was that chick flick that we split up in? Where half of us went to Narnia and the other half?... Well I want to see that one too. And Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, and Good Night, Good Bye ? (?) Is that what it's called? Whatever. So many movies, so little time. Let's movie hop when finals are over.
Haha, and in conclusion, Amy's newfound obsession with Arrested Development's Gob/Michael makes me laugh heartily. YOU SO CUTE!!! I want to sleep with over with you really soon. Hurrhurhurrhurrr
