thanksgiving break
I hope everyone had a really awesome break and Thanksgiving! I can't believe school starts again tomorrow, eugh. I barely even felt that week go by. Anyhoo, I didn't make anything this Thanksgiving, but this is the tart I made last year. IT LOOKS GODLY, I KNOW I KNOW.
So, most this break I didn't do much. For once, I did NOT have bad parent-teacher meetings. Also, for once, I got into a big fight with my brother. It was pretty ugly. But it's all ok now 'cuz he's letting me borrow his Firefly dvds, and I lent him my Harry Potter books. Oh, HAHA, I forgot to even mention that my brother is reading HP now. After we watched Goblet of Fire (!!!!!!! and ♥) together, which he enjoyed (!!!!!!!!!!!!), I forced him to actually read the books. Sniffle ... I'm so proud of him!
Yesterday, I went to Kassie's house to hang out. Man. It was really fun, but I found out some things that are profoundly depressing; I really hope everything turns out okay for her. ANYways, I came an hour before everyone else, so we talked and played MarioKart until Tim, Rustin, Jon, and Shaunak showed up together. Played pool, hung around the house ... Janice eventually came, and then Kas drove us to In-N-Out for dinner. Haha, OMG, TIM AND SHAUNAK. There wasn't enough room on the car, so on the way there Tim sat in the trunk, and on the way back, Shaunak took his place. But HAHA, Shaunak was way too big for the trunk, so he was like sticking out and just... not fitting. He also said something really ridiculous like, "We must be the wildest kids I know!" If he thinks jacking around in the car is wild, then... I have no idea what kind of people he hangs out with. Poor, naive Shaunak :P He also kept freaking out when Tim and Rustin kept drawing penii (plural for penis!) on the windows. Eventually, he tried drawing one himself on the trunk window, but it was really small and retarded to which Tim said, "Why are they so small!!? Make it bigger AHHAahAHAH[insert Tim laugh]" and to which I said, "'Cuz he doesn't have any reference to go by"--AHHAHA BURNNNNNNNNNnnn. Haha, I can't help it, the boy sets himself up for this kind of abuse. :D In the end, we got to In-N-Out and somehow ended up talking about mono, which is curious, because the last time I was at In-N-Out was when I went out with Amy, Sam, and his friend (Eric, was it?) and we also had a lengthy discussion on mono. Maybe something about that place invokes and exudes feelings of mono?
Too lazy and too tired to elaborate any more on that, so I'll finish the post with this:
Lost is such a good show, but sometimes, I get the feeling I watch only because of this man.

Matthew Fox, who plays the doctor, Jack. Not a lot of people like him, but I think he's pretty cool. Besides, gotta love that old man scruff. Rrrrawr.
