Grey aliens
I'm watching a "documentary" about Greys on the History Channel. First off, if they DO exist, then they ARE NOT from another planet. In order for them to be so similar to us physically, they would have to be distantly related. Not only that, but that's the only way it would be possible for them to create a "human-grey" hybrid.
Ancient civilization that escaped Earth during a period of natural disaster and then developed into creepy, genital-less midgets more quickly than expected and then could no longer survive on the planet and are now trying to genetically alter themselves to come back? I think so.
Really, this "theory" isn't nearly as far-fetched as "aliens from deep space", because it's more likely that humans could have evolved before we ever imagined and developed space-age technology than for anything to somehow defy physics and travel billions of light years just for little 'ole us.
Now, this would all be great if I actually believed it. I don't, but it IS the only way that little grey aliens from space would ever make sense to me.
If I disappear after this, however, YOU KNOW WHY.
