Sam groaned as he slowly came back to consciousness. This was the third time he had woken up with this kind of pain, and was really getting annoyed that people kept slamming his head into things to help him sleep. What ever happened to two little pills

"Sam?" she frowned. "Sam, is that you?"

He had never been so happy to hear Bela's voice in his life.
Knowing she wouldn't hear him, he instead move the cup over the YES.

Because she was pretty sure Dean's itchy trigger finger would not be in her favor if it had taken her too long to find him. That wouldn't go over well at all.

Which was a bad question, considering that he had already stated that he was lost. She sighed heavily, before shaking her head.
"Never mind. Anything distinguishing that I should tell Dean?"

He shivered and realized that there was no heat on. He was going to have to make a fire or freeze soon.

"Sam, is there any way for you to tell me where you are? I -- I need some better clues."
Because really, a cabin somewhere cold could be anywhere. He could be anywhere from the Poconos to the Rockies for all she knew.

Then it stopped as he took a deep breath. He looked out the window again, trying to see what he could in the dying light.

He got up and left it alone a moment as he went to the fireplace. There was some old newspapers by the dry wood. He smirked and went back to the board.

She was just covering her bases. She wasn't going to call Dean until she was in the area and she knew that it was all clear, but until then, she figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Even with the use of the magic, and not his powers, his head was starting to hurt. He was going to chalk this up though to the lack of food in the last few says.

Then he remembered that he was really feeling cold. So he started to grab the wood and the newspaper and built a fire in the fireplace. He used the matches from the summoning kit to light it, then went to see if there was anything like a blanket in the closets of the place.

She didn't sense any demons in the area, but she knew from experience that they could be hiding. Lack of signal made calling not an option, so she sent off a quick text to Dean with a location and a warning, before leaning in to the cabin window, before spotting Sam inside, and rapping lightly on the window.
If Sam was any kind of smart, she wouldn't be able to walk in the door anyway.

The only salt in the entire place had been in his emergency kit, which would only fill one doorway entrance. It would have been a waste to use on the front door, so he had instead gone into the bathroom and drawn the line there since it was the only way in and out. The bathtub had also been filled as well and a tiny rosary was sitting in the bottom.
He was curled up on the couch in the one blanket he had found, the fireplace going nice to heat the room. Under the blanket, however, was an iron fire poker in one hand, and a baggie with holy water inside.
It was enough to be able to get him to the safe room.
Hearing the tapping, he jumped from his light sleep and looked around with his now bruised but looking a bit better face. He saw her and nodded, his eyes motioning for the door so that she knew she could just walk in.

"God, they really put you through hell, didn't they?" she murmured softly, before reaching for her bag and starting to unload it, pulling out everything she had managed to grab and bring with her on short notice.
Which turned out to be quite a lot. She was a bit like Mary Poppins at the moment -- the bag was never ending.
