Sam groaned at the sound of his name. His real name. God he hated it when people called him Samuel, and the voice as it swam to him through the dull pain of his power headache wasn't making him inclinded to answer.
But the fact that it was her voice, and not Ruby or his brother's, that tried to wake him made him fight for consciousness. Which came quickly as his eyes opened.
That was when he realized he was laying in a bed. And his arms were above him. His arms flexed and he felt the handcuffs restrain them. Then he just turned his head to look at the demon on the edge of the bed with a murdering look. And didn't speak. He doubted they would answer him anyway.
Vassago just let a smile slip across her face, as she leaned in closer to him, letting her finger trace over his chest lightly. "I'm sorry about the way things went earlier, Sam. I had intended for things to be a bit more -- intimate -- but you can't argue with the future. I'd seen our meeting so many times -- "
She paused for a moment, licking her lips slightly as she leaned back against his hip, watching him carefully. "I just wanted things to be perfect. You're very important, after all."
"Oh, you're special, alright," she smirked, ignoring the part about Hell, and leaning in to rest her elbow on Sam's chest and her chin in her hand. "You're going to lead us to victory, Sam. Well -- maybe not you you. But still, close enough."
Her free hand wandered up softly, ignoring whatever jerking away he may have done from her and letting her fingers play with her hair. "The world is going to crumble at your feet, Sam Winchester. Buildings will fall in a way that can only be mastered by time itself. And while that kind of power comes with -- sacrifices -- I'm sure you'll be able to manage."
"Stolas is hardly a stooge," Vassago chuckled slightly. "His lineage is powerful, and strong. In fact, his lineage is the reason why you're here today, Sam."
She gave him a grin, before moving the free hand up so that she was resting her chin on both hands, leaning some of her weight onto his chest. "Tell me, Sam -- do you know who his grandfather is?"
She laughed, a slow easy chuckle as she shook her head. "Not God. No, certainly not God. In fact, he's probably as far from God as you can get. He's descended from the only one of us who had the guts to stand up to God and tell him exactly what we thought of his vicious dictatorship."
She tilted forward. "Can you think of who I mean, Sam?"
Sam just closed his eyes and laughed. "So Lucifer got himself a piece of demon ass and made some ugly demon babies. Good for him. Even the devil needs to get laid, apparently."
He looked right into her eyes. "You aren't scaring me."
"Scaring you was not my intention, Sam," she said with a slight sigh as she pushed herself up, sauntering away from him. "In fact, you are probably the last person you know who should be scared."
"No," she replied, moving over to the side of the room, picking up one of the books that have been left on the shelf. "This is the part where you get to watch the people you love die."
"Oh -- I'm sorry," she said with a frown. "When I said watch? I meant sit here helplessly while I send my favorite killing machine out to kill them." She turned back to him making her way forward and crouching down next to him.
"You know, Alloces is out there and he's really looking for something to kill. You're brother's angel friend cost him something very dear to him. Maybe he'll seek out your lovely friend Ruby. I'd bet you'd love watching him tear her pretty, tight, little body of hers to shreds before he does her in."
She paused again, before pushing herself up, placing one knee on the bed and crawling up so that she was leaning over him. "Tell me -- how was that body, Sam? Was it everything you thought it was going to be? Everything you fantasized about?"
"Did you know that Ruby doesn't usually do stuff like that?" she said with a small smile. She moved her hand forward and brushed at his hair again. "Lust isn't her sin, Sam. She wouldn't have crossed that kind of line unless she really, really wanted to." Her head tilted to the side slightly. "I wonder how long she sat there, watching you and wanting, but not allowed to reach out and touch."
And she did touch, her hand connecting with his skin a little more firmly then before, trailing down the side of his face to his chest, letting her fingers trace over the edge of his shoulders.

"Yeah, I got the whole special little boy speech 14 years ago. That's nothing new to me, so why don't you just go back to hell?"

"I'm not going to work for you, no matter what your stooge with the puppet powers makes me do. I'd die first."
