VROOOM
Ok, I wasn't going to say anything about this until it's happened and I can post actual photos, but it's not for another day still and I'm exciteedddd! See, my dear ol', um, half-sister's dad (backstory: mom's first husband, dad to half-sisters-who-are-really-just-sisters, been around my whole life, pretty much a second dad to me [or possibly granddad since he's a bit older than my mom (and she was kinda old when she had me anyway, holy recursive parentheses phenomenon Batman)]), is following through with his "help Lori have a car" plan by buying me a brand fucking new one!
Not just new to me, but actually completely totally new off the lot. To which I can only say holy crap yeah. (Oh, and just so you guys don't think I'm the hugest spoiled teenage brat ever, he's only paying the payments for another two years until I graduate Concord, then I'm taking them over; and although he probably won't want me to, I'm planning on eventually paying him back what he's paid as well.)
He's not 100% positive what he's getting but I've already fallen in love with
Same color and everything, it's a Hyundai Accent. Super cute and good gas mileage and the model at the lot comes with free satellite radio for three months :O He brought it home Saturday for me and my mom to look at and we both kinda went 0_0. On Wednesday I'm leaving work early to go look at stuff with him and hopefully HAVE A BRAND NEW CAR OMFG YEAH.
