Bahah, I keep forgetting tomorrow's my birthday! I'm all "meh I have to go to school tomorrow and then work wahwahwah", and then I remember hey, tomorrow's my birfday! Although you know, it probably won't be a huge deal or anything, but it's something out of the ordinary.
I'm working on a nice 1960's flip hairdo, like
this or
this (basically I just love that last picture, I want to be Mary Tyler Moore so badly). Obviously my hair's shorter so I've only been able to come up with
so far:
Sorry for the hugeass pictures of my giant head. The second one is where you can see the flip best. I had to take it with the camera down low, opposite of the flattering MySpace angle, so excuse the massive nostrils. Obviously it'll work a little better when my hair gets a bit longer. I am not abandoning my old standby Edith Head hairstyle, just working on an alternative. Because I know this is breaking news and whatnot. The whole teasing at the top thing is not working out quite as well as it could, because it's really confusing to try and tease your hair. You either get a big ratty tangleball or it just goes back to flat. But I'm still working on it.
I totally impulse-bought American Gods yesterday. The paperback was eight bucks, and I realized I didn't actually own any Neil Gaiman books besides Good Omens. But I have so much I have to read for school there's little chance I'll finish it any time soon.
