['Sup Fortuna.
This is one of the new members of the Watch, Ran. And she's just gotten back from patrol around Dissimulo. She looks a little tired; she's still getting used to doing this, and she shivers, looking a little cold when she walks back into her house.
Everything's still wet outside from all the rain this week, too, so she's kind of trying not to trip. But luckily, she's not that clumsy.
She shuts the door and smiles to greet the camera of her communicator.]
Aside from all the rain, it...seems like things have been pretty quiet lately. Almost too quiet.
[...at least in regards to the scientists. She sighs, just thinking about them.]
It's definitely weird...but in any case, I hope everyone's been dressing warmly. Take care of yourselves as best you can, and...if there's anything you need, don't be afraid to come to me or another member of the Watch about it. Especially if you're new.
[There's another smile, as her finger hovers over the button to end the feed. She doesn't want to bother people for too long, after all.]
Hope to hear from you guys. Let's stick together, okay?
[And there's a click! As the feed shuts off.]

[A little while later, after she's caught her breath, Ran decides to contact someone she's been meaning to get in touch with for the better part of a week now. She's determined not to let anything get in her way this time.
Remembering the frequency as told to her by the commander, she initiates a feed.]
Hi...y-you're the other person who volunteered at the soup kitchen, right? Commander Kresnik told me I'd be able to reach you at this frequency.
[Admittedly, she looks a little nervous.]
