I Want To See The Sun First For Once
I've finally hit on a new financial goal for the year.
This time next year I'm GOING TO ASIA! Japan and Korea to be specific. Well, Japan for sure, and I'd really like Korea too but we'll see. I've looked at some ticket prices and throwing in Korea doesn't add too much to the (flight) costs so yeah. At any rate, ASIA.
Yes, I am excited.
This means planning though. And not just money-wise. I've got to get cracking on my Japanese Language learning - I've gotten a nice start learning some of the fundamentals but wow I've got a ways to go - so that I can get around with a bit of confidence and not totally make a fool of myself, and also must convince my parents that yes, I can handle the trip on my own - since there's no one else to come with me - and yes, they do want to watch my daughter for a few weeks. The rest of the planning is more: where do I go, what do I see, etc.
I haven't travelled in so long, especially by myself and it's such an exciting thought. Tons of things that could snag my plans, mainly money and my parents, but damn. It better work out.
