69! U2? SNOW.

The housing lottery process at Fordham is a pain in the ass. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to get 69 as my random lottery number. (Everyone is given a number from 1 to 10,000. The lower your number and the higher your class ranking, the better your placement.) Since I have senior standing and such a low number, I was able to get a single in the best (and newest) building on campus! Yay! I actually got to pick before anyone else. That kind of makes up for the embarrassment of the snickers I received when everyone heard the number "69" followed by my oh-so-lovely last name. :-/

There has been a rumor going around on campus that U2 is going to have a "secret show" on the steps of Keating Hall this Friday. A few reliable sources have commented on the possibility of this show, but I'm still skeptical. I'm not a fan of U2, so this rumor didn't interest me in the least at first. However, I have also heard that some of the morning classes on Friday may be canceled as a result of the show! I have an 8:30 class every morning, so I'd be more than happy to sleep in on Friday. I've seen a few blogs that have been talking about this secret show. Supposedly, only Fordham students will be allowed into the show (if it actually happens). I only bring that up because I enjoyed these particular comments from this Brooklyn Vegan blog.

It's snowing. A LOT! I am incredibly sick of snow. Class hasn't been canceled at all this winter. I've just had to trudge along in the snow with all my books! It's horrible, and I hate it! However, this snowfall seems to be promising. My friend, Glenn, goes to Rutgers in New Jersey, and his classes have already been canceled. Fordham still hasn't made any announcements regarding the weather. Nevertheless, the ground is covered in several inches of snow, and it just keeps falling. So, I think that there won't be any classes tomorrow.

Did anyone spot my super secret message??? Hehehehehe.
