As you can probably tell, I'm perfectly aware of what you're doing. And I really don't appreciate it. The only thing you've accomplished is annoying me. I don't like being used. Is that any way to treat a new friend?
Given that I made no secret of it, I find this sentence to be strange.
Really? You didn't try to make it a secret? I believe that a filtered entry that I cannot see is pretty secretive.
The only thing you've accomplished is annoying me.
I now have a bunch of random people friending me for no reason other than to annoy Stephen. It is only a minor annoyance and not a huge deal, but I do believe that you could have freaked out Stephen in some other way.
You're being used? I predicted the behaviour of both you and Mr Tumnus down to a perfect level of detail. You were free to act and I didn't force you to act in any way. The only person who used you as a means to an end was [info]essius. As I said, I was going to add you anyway. The fact that I knew you'd betray [info]essius' ignoble nature was merely a foreseen consequence. What are you going on about? And yes, you had people add me because you thought that it would do something to Stephen. Really, what the hell were you thinking? Why would it bother him in any way
( ... )
But you were told by Mr Tumnus what was in that post, were you not? And there are lots of entries which you cannot read. I gave you access to nearly all of my filters which is why you can see some deeply personal things. I apologise if you think I'm keeping secrets from you.
No, Stephen did not say anything about a post. I don't know with complete certainty that the post is there. I'm just fairly certain that it is.
Have you seen the people who added you? One of them writes eloquently about Muslim issues. Another writes about popular culture from a literary point of view. If anything, I've done you a favour by introducing you to them.
I want people to friend me if they have a genuine interest in what I have to say. I don't want people to friend me simply because you asked them to do so.
Interesting question for you: why do you think this is freaking out Stephen so much that he'd call Elphaba? Do you not think that there's something slightly perverse and overprotective about this, especially considering his reputation with females
( ... )
It's okay. You don't have to lie to cover Stephen's lack of integrity. We already know all about it.
I'm not lying about anything. I haven't spoken to Stephen since this morning.
But why must this be framed in terms of Mr Tumnus? Do you not have qualities in your own right which might make you an interesting person?
The reason that people friended me was because they wanted to help you annoy Stephen, that's why. And yes, I do, but I don't really use my LJ too often. I've never been good at keeping journals.
How would they form a genuine interest unless they read your LJ? How would they come to your LJ except through me?
Maybe they could eventually become interested in what I say, but right now, their sole reason for friending me is because you told them to do so.
You make it sound like the joke is over.
I don't see where it could possibly be going, but okay.
They know as well. They added you because I told them to.

Oh. Like, you mean, making inappropriately suggestive comments?

Ha. Very funny.

Umm...okay.
Given that you have access to my posts, you'll probably find out sooner than waiting for Tumnus to call Elphaba.
Interesting. And Elphaba is who exactly?
