A new note is posted to the main board.
I have spoken to Kate Bishop regarding the recent rash of nightmares and subsequents injuries plaguing the bar of late. Here are what I feel are the most important points:
- it appears to be tied to a hospital in particular world, called the Old Kingddom. There is the ghost of a little girl names Mary from that world who may be able to provide us with more information about what is causing the nightmares.
- those afflicted appear to be transported to this place while in a dream state and are attacked by dead people unknown to them. Any injuries sustained in these attacks remain once they have awakened. A partial list of those affected is as follows: Kate Bishop, Will Scarlett, Guppy, Atton, Wellington, Teja, Asher, Han, Doc, Merlin, Artemis, Inari. Some of them may be found in the makeshift sleeping area recently set up near the infirmary.
- Kate specifically mentioned a Doctor Gottreich who seems to be the culprit. He attacked Kate himself in one of her dreams and possessed another bar patron named Johnny Smith, who is currently in the cells. This doctor claims the Old Kingdom is his hospital and may be looking to use patrons here as a means for some type of experiment.
Kate also provided sketches of Mary, Doctor Gottreich and the hospital itself, attached here.
As for suggestions, I think we may want to interview some of the other victims to see what they remember and any other information they can provide. Also, I think we should try to find Mary for an interview as well. The doctor, it sounds as though this may be someone with a psychic or telepathic capability, or a malevolent spiritual entity. We must have someone who would be able to sense this type of presence and possibly banish it?
Any additional information other members of Security have obtained should be posted here so we have as complete a picture we can as to what is going on, as well as any other suggestions. Kate will keep us apprised of any new information she discovers as well.
