Atton is patched up and hooked to a drip for fluid replacement. The scanner keeps a close eye on him.

As does Guppy, who flits between office and infirmary all night, observing and checking. At this exact moment he's catching a bit of brief restless sleep on the office sofa.

"Wish I could've met you under better circumstances, I'm not usually such an interesting array of colours." The bruises are, perhaps, very colourful.

"A little note saying I can be discharged'd be great." Grin. He knows that's not exactly going to happen anytime soon.

"Pffft. My injures aren't so bad, once you get to know them."

"It's true! They're really quite cuddly, sweet people."
