Summary: Sonic's starter, Fang is a crafty little bugger. He's sly, confident, and loves to steal. Usually he only goes after Pokémon eggs, but sometimes he'll try and grab someone's change or snag some of their food. Usually he does this when Sonic isn't looking and acts friendly around his trainer. Much like Sonic, he's a speedy little guy, something that Sonic admires.
Fang's also very good at hitting his targets, much like his namesake. Don't expect dodging to help much.
Misc: Named after Fang the Sniper. He has a jagged fang and wears a fedora.

Misc: Named after Sally Acorn, one of Sonic's best friends and love interest.

But hey, sometimes it's fun to try something a little different, and the results might be a little surprising. Sonic lets Megs mess around if he really wants to. He's one of Sonic's favorites because of his cool looks and super speed.
Misc: Named after MegaMan from the hit videogame serious. Sonic has yet to realize this.

Summary: Abandoned as an egg and treated as the baby of his former trainer's team, Comet has some self-esteem issues. He's a little uncomfortable around his new teammates, but he's been working hard to make up for it. Luckily, Sonic treats him very kindly, offering him chili dogs and letting him run with all the others. In return, Comet does his best when he trains, hoping to impress Sonic.
He was afraid to evolve for a while due to his lack of confidence, but after a victory against Falkner's Pidgeot, he finally became a Typhlosion.

Summary: Named after the sorcerer Naugus from Sonic's world, this Gengar lives up to his name. He's a tricky old ghost who loves to mess around with others. He's cunning, sly, and a wee bit malicious. But best of all, he's fast, and that's an important trait when it comes to Sonic's team. When the Gengars started popping up, Sonic immediately went after Naugus because he looked cool and moved quickly.
He doesn't understand Sonic's obsession with chili dogs, however, and prefers to feed on dreams. Specifically Comet's dreams.
