Memory
She had been working in the clinic - preparing supplies in case it became necessary to evacuate, when, suddenly, everything shifted. Like it had with the memory, but she couldn't remember touching a crystal.
Something felt... wrong about this place. The ice crystals on the tall pillars, the fact that she was even here, the faint tang of blood in the air. Kagami and Snake stood before her. Still smiling those smiles of theirs, the ones that had felt so wrong.
"Captain Aizen. I thought you would be here." Her voice, sharp and firm in the chilled air."No. I should not call you 'Captain' any more. Aizen Sousuke, the traitor."
"Hello, Captain -" A rush of wind covered whatever name Kagami had said. Her own, perhaps? "I was thinking, if someone were to come, it would be about now. Was it easy to figure out?" He soundeds so completely genial, even while speaking of such a subject.
"In Seireitei, there is only one place where entry is absolutely forbidden - the Seijoutouyorin. If you wanted to conceal your presence so much that you created such a well-made 'corpse-doll' for it... you would also choose the best hiding place. And there is no place safer or harder to find than here." Her voice was still calm, though with the same edge of steel running through it. Even watching the memory, though, she felt angry at him, at his calm smile.
"Nice deduction. Even though your theory is basically correct, you've made two mistakes. First off, I did not come here to hide. Secondly..." Something appeared, held up by his outstretched arm. A body, dressed as he was, and utterly lifeless. "...This is not a corpse-doll."
"Wh-! When did he take...!" The third voice was from behind her - younger, more excitable. The same one from her last memory.
Kagami's eyes narrowed slightly, making the smile just a touch more sinister. "'When did I take it out?' No, I've had it in my hand this whole time." He shifted slightly, the glare of light on his glasses now obscuring his eyes, even as he kept smiling. "But up until this moment, I simply didn't have it take it's intended form."
Bellflower could feel herself frown, even as the woman behind her exclaimed in surprise. "...What... what do you mean?"
"You'll understand soon enough. Watch carefully. Here goes!" He straightened just a touch, raising his voice to command. "Shatter, Kyouka Suigetsu." The body in his hand became a blade - and then the memory ended.
