OOC: Soul Society discussion

On the evening of Monday, May 23rd, the Bleach cast is convening in the Scavenger's Yard to share what scraps of info about their home they've gathered. Bellflower and Bastet organized it, and spread the world quietly. This post is for recording what each character shared at the talk, because we don't have the time to log it out ICly :)

Kiba would share:

-he was a vice-captain under Hakuteiken
-he was 4th floored to Rukongai and spent a few hours in Inuzuri
-he’s recovered both shikai and bankai
-he went to school with Reaper, Kira and Suzuran (although he doesn’t have names for the latter two)
-Aizen saved them as students
-Aizen creeps him out!!!
-and if Kazahana mentions her imprisonment, he'll say that he fought to get her out

Bastet would share:

-what shinigami are
----charged with ferrying human souls to the afterlife as well as purifying souls gone bad
----they can either be born in the afterlife or strong human souls can become shinigami after death
-shinigami and humans live in different dimensions
-they were at war against Reverie/Kagami/Aizen
----he apparently controlled an army of Hollows, some of which looked nearly human and were very strong
-she knows an extensive amount of kidou; with mod permission, she finds spells in the Scavenger’s Yard every month or so
-spent some time in Seireitei while 4th floored

less likely to volunteer, but will discuss if it comes up:

-She used to head the 2nd division and Special Ops
-Special Ops consists of Covert Ops and the Punishment Brigade
-Lin succeeded her after she went into exile
-she was born in the afterlife
-the general circumstances around her exile/Aizen’s experiments and framing of Tessai and Urahara
-shinigami are extremely long-lived

I think that's it? I tried to go back and find everything they know/have recovered, but I'll update if I remember anything else.

Edit: since I missed that part of Wintaer's comment XD She actually won't share anything about her and Kisuke's shared history if he doesn't want it out; she doesn't care who knows she went into exile, but if he wants to keep it quiet, she'll respect that.

Bellflower would be most interested in hearing about kidou - nobody has actually told her that she, uh, has magic yet. She thinks it's just the sensing powers and the giant manta ray.

She'll tell her what she knows about it; binding vs destructive vs healing spells. She's got a pretty good handle on all three; she and Kazahana had been practicing together for a while, and swapping healing techniques for binding and destructive spells.

I used to have a list of the spells she's recovered, but I can't find it and argh, it's been so long. XD

She'd like to get in on that, then XD And now wants to know how Ilygian knew she had magic >_>

Sure, she'll explain however much Bellflower likes, and offer to help her practice. And if Wintaer is ok with it, she'll also offer Crimson to help Bellflower practice, for those times Bastet is busy. XDD

If she asks Bastet about Ilygian, she'd just guess he can sense that sort of capability in a person? But of course she wouldn't know for certain.
