Dream 2

The air is warm, the sky sunny with only a few fluffy clouds to break up the expanse of blue. Not quite the heat of summer yet, but, perhaps, the gentler warmth of spring. There’s a feeling of motion, of wind, and as you look down, you realize rather suddenly that you’re in midair, hovering high above a lush green forest canopy. There’s something else flying as well, a huge pale green creature, round oval body with tapered wing-fins. The dream seems to focus on this, to clarify. There’s a figure on it’s back - as the image expands to fill the scope of vision, it becomes clearer that the figure is Bellflower. She’s half-curled on her side, barefoot and dressed in a beautiful floral kimono, with long, trailing sleeves. Despite the position she’s laying in, she’s not asleep - her eyes are open, and she gently strokes the expanse of green skin. You can feel it under your feet now, standing on the creature’s back. Warmer than you’d expect, and with a velvety softness to it. There’s a faint tang of salt-water, too - strange, with no ocean in sight.

Bellflower speaks, almost to herself, really. “Minazuki...” There’s a smile on her lips, and affection in her voice. The huge yellow eye on the creature rolls back to look at the rider on it’s back, and a strange, young-old voice seems to come from nowhere in particular, surrounding you like a cocoon of sound. Yes, Mistress. The dream stays like this for a while, quiet and full of lazy calm, and then... it fades into wakefulness.
