Gone with the Wind
There was an apparent MIA status, but I swear I did not. Just that, I have been updating my previous post with latest information, that's all. Maybe I should remember to update the date as well?
I have been planning out what my (cosplay) life should be like, and I have decided! To shift all my plans to next year. No cosplaying this year DDD: But I want to have my first attempt as good as possible. Perfectionist wants to have her cosplay done to her own standard first! Not having to rush out for EOY means that I have more time to do my research, and if I were to really do lenalee version 1, I guess I have more of less completed the required research. Any further is additional aid ^_^ I have also prepared whatever that is needed for my cosplay, except the following:
1) The white skirt black cloth (will probably DIY from the very basic)
2) Earrings
I have started re-watching CCS, before doing the marathon with Ryou-kun, Ning and the team, because I need more reference and inspiration for my cosplay *sighs* As the anime was so long-time-ago, the best quality is not good enough for screenshots to be taken. I have to be an otaku *cries* and jot down notes as I watch the anime, pausing here and there to take down some points and stuff. But the funny thing is, they fall off the table, dropped into the dustbin, and my mom cleared it off (O_________O) I have to rewatch the episodes, and re-do my notes X_X
Checking out House of Japan for the business suit next week, and hopefully if it fits into the budget, and of course, my size. If all goes smoothly, I'll probably be executing my KHR cosplay plan(s). Yeah, another big DIY project to carry out. I wonder if I'm capable of that. But, at least, I have asked seisei how she did the carving/wordings on the trident. Seisei's trident look awesome, but I don't want to borrow any part of her blueprint for my own prop. I want to be as independent as possible, and to do my own prop. That is one of the first step to being a good, successful cosplayer!
