The Love Story of Jesus (Boaz) and Me (Ruth)

Happy Valentine Day! Haha.. is over for two days already! i am still celebrating Valentine with Jesus... in fact everyday is Valentine cause i felt so loved by Him!! I am so happy that on the actual day of Valentine, the care group session was on! We had a great time in care group sharing the thoughts deep down in our heart when we pray and talk to Jesus. Woo... felt so warmth by His love while we worship and soak deep deep into His love! Oh... good news from ber and jac!! He announced that they are getting married next year!! Yea... so happy for them!

Yesterday after work, one of my colleagues and i went to the BIG Sales at harbour front. In the past, this colleague of mine was a thorn of my flesh! Before i was in Christ, i hated him and treated him like my enemy! After i soaked deep into love of Jesus then i realise my hatred for him is no more! I did not use my effort to TRY to keep the commandment by loving my neighbour. All i did is to enjoy the love of Jesus and He empowerd me to love! Presently, this colleague is one of my closest friends in camp! Let us look at wat Jesus say in Matt5:43-46 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor* and hate your enemy.'  But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?

Haha.. while we were in the BIG sales, guess what he was attracted to? He loves all the kitchen appliance.. fridge, rice cooker etc. A guy attracted to all these??!! I was fustrated while shopping with him.. haha.. because i was hungry and he was looking at all the cooking stuff!! We had a great time shopping for 3 hours and manage to grab some bite before we go!  Anyway, he was a very good help in carrying the bulky items i brought. Take a look at the multi-function printer and speaker which i brought in the BIG Sales! They are really good buy!! The Epson printer which can perform scan, photocopy and print is just $198 and the Altec Lansing Speaker which has very good woofer and bass just $89!

Picture of my colleague and me taken one year ago in a dinner function. New gadget added to my room!!

My advanced printer and slim-looking speaker!! With the slim speaker, the focus is very much on the screen - Jesus!!

I have a testimonial today!! I have to relate the story to 2 weeks ago when i read the book of Ruth. I did not understand and not able to see Jesus in the story. The Holy Spirit stir in me to find out more on the love story of Ruth and therefore, i brought the tape series last week. Woo... one word to describe the tape series - EXCITING! There are a total of 3 tapes in the series and till yesterday, i manage to finish listening to 2 tapes. Tape number 2 stops at chapter 3 of the book. The story is so exciting that i can't wait to listen to tape number 3! This morning, when i reached my office, i dive right into the bible to read chapter 4 (last chap). After reading, i have doubts again... Ruth4:1 Now Boaz went up to the gate and sat down there; and behold, the close relative of whom Boaz had spoken came by. So Boaz said, "Come aside, friend, sit down here." So he came aside and sat down.  And he took ten men of the elders of the city. Hmm.. who is the close relative whom he has also mention in chapter 3? Boaz mentioned the relative is closer than he is to Ruth. Is God? Cannot be... that relative is not willing to redeem Ruth.
I was left with doubts till 10am in the morning... when my boss has an urgent request for me to drive to Ayer Rajah to collect document. Wow... is definitely a divine arrangement by Jesus!! The distance to drive there is long enough for me to finish tape number 3! Woo... that close relative is Mr. Law along with 10 elders in the city (10 commandments). See that Mr. Law.. not willing to redeem us (Ruth) in Ruth4:6 And the close relative said, "I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I ruin my own inheritance. You redeem my right of redemption for yourself, for I cannot redeem it." See our Jesus (Heavenly Boaz) redeem us in Ruth4:8-10 Therefore the close relative said to Boaz, "Buy it for yourself." So he took off his sandal. And Boaz said to the elders and all the people, "You are witnesses this day that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, from the hand of Naomi. Moreover, Ruth the Moabitess, the widow of Mahlon, I have acquired as my wife, to perpetuate the name of the dead through his inheritance, that the name of the dead may not be cut off from among his brethren and from his position at the gate. You are witnesses this day." Wow... u all MUST read the whole book of Ruth or get the tape series to experience the tremendous love story! See how God placed Ruth at the right place at the right time to meet Boaz in Ruth2:3 Then she left, and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech. See how Ruth (us) found favour in the eyes of our Heavenly Boaz (Jesus)! When u go deeper to study the genealogy of Jesus, u shall see more truth! The love story shall give u a deeper love of Jesus love for u!!

Ruth met Boaz while gleaning in the field.

I also want to share some pictures from the movie - Passion of Christ. Pastor preached before on the Levi High Priest tore his robe in front of Jesus and it marks the end of Leviticus Priesthood. Jesus teared when this happen and running in his mind these word:" If only you all can see the truth...my brothers (Israel) ". These are the scene in the movie Passion -

I also had a revelation on Jesus while watching the scene when He got scourge by the Romans Soldiers. See what He talk to Abba before He bear all the scourging and smitten for us! Wow.. i see Him really STRONG!! My Jesus is STRONG!!
