(no subject)
The past couple of days have been spectacular.
Cast party at Katie's on Thursday. Good times and good drinks had by all. Although I do admit that there was slight drama, because I got so drunk that I broke down crying. But hey, it's all good. The rest of the party was quite entertaining. :) And I'm so glad that Katie stage managed this summer, because I'm really getting the chance to get to know her. I mean, I knew her before, of course, but not nearly this well. I like it. :)
Woke up and went to Starry Nights for breakfast with Louie, Katie, Rachel, Chelsea and Don. I felt like trash because I still had my comb-over hair from the show the night before, and I was still wearing my pajamas. But since everyone else looked equally as trasy as I did, I let it slide. Starry Nights' coffee is better than I remember it being.
Then I took Louie home and came back to my house to shower. Louie and I were going to go out to see a show, but then realized that we'd never ever make the 7:30 start time. :( So instead of seeing singing and dancing, we rented "Finding Neverland," but only got around to watching like...25 minutes of it. We were too distracted by the $18 of junk food that we had purchased at Wegmans.
Then Kergy called (!) and we went out for ice cream on the canal with her, Elise, and Marie. I have missed them dearly and I'm excited for the show to end so I can have my nights with them back. We took a walk on the canal and then went back to my house for a glass of wine. Quite fun.
After the girls left, Louie and I attempted to watch the Aqua Teens DVD, but fell asleep on the couch for a good hour instead. After I dropped him off, I sang showtunes loudly on the way home to stay awake. I love the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
