The apple...er grape...doesn't fall far from the tree
I accidentally bought seeded grapes from the grocery store. DAT was very excited about finding seeds in his grapes and wanted to plant them. I gave him a bottle of water and open up some potting soil on the back patio, and all by himself without any immediate supervision (I watched through the window as I did dishes) he carefully filled the pot with soil, planted the seeds, and watered them.
He came in and announced proudly that, "The grapes will sprout and grow more grapes and then we won't have to buy any from the store."
He's so excited, I sure hope they sprout. Lord knows what kind of grapes we will get (I think most modern varieties are grafted).
